These terms govern your use of Afrischool ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Afrischool provides text and voice translation between English and several African languages. Translations are generated using Sunbird AI's translation service. Automated translation can be inaccurate, especially for less common language pairs, and should not be relied on for legal, medical, or other high-stakes situations.
You need an account to use Afrischool. You provide a name and password to sign in, and an email address used only for password recovery. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account.
If you use voice input, your recorded audio is sent to Sunbird AI's speech-to-text service to be transcribed, and is not stored by Afrischool itself beyond what's needed to process that request.
Afrischool offers a paid weekly subscription (currently UGX 2,000/week) for premium features. Payments are processed securely by Pesapal; we do not see or store your card or mobile money details. Subscriptions renew only when you actively choose to pay again - we do not charge you automatically. Because payment is handled by a third party and premium access is granted immediately on confirmed payment, we do not offer refunds except where required by law or where a payment was taken in error.
Afrischool is under active development. Features, supported languages, and availability may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance or issues with third-party providers (such as Sunbird AI).
You can stop using Afrischool and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Afrischool is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for translation errors or their consequences.
